It’s time for another Smoothie Saturday recipe!! As I didn’t post a recipe for you guys last weekend I promised to post two today, and this is the second.
My first recipe for today was a green smoothie, so I thought I’d make this one bright red (just because I doubt you’d want two green smoothies in a row). I also wanted to make a smoothie that was packed full of berries because they are absolutely delicious and I include some kind of berries in my diet pretty much every single day.
Berries contain lots of lovely antioxidants, so they are great for you! And the Greek yoghurt in this recipe adds some protein too. Perfect!
I’ve used frozen berries in this recipe because I mostly buy frozen (as they’re more affordable), but if you want to use fresh berries then that’s obviously totally cool. I would just add some ice cubes so the smoothie is nice and chilled.
If you try this recipe (or any of my others) please let me know what you think!
