I have a sweet tooth so I’m always trying to find new ways to indulge without grabbing a chocolate bar, and this recipe is my latest creation. I’m so proud of this one!

It’s a gorgeously rich chocolate orange avocado mousse. Perfect as a treat! Oh, and it’s really quick and easy to make!

Feeds 2 if you’re greedy like me, or 4 if you don’t fancy stuffing your face


2 medium ripe avocados

35g cacao powder (you can substitute for cocoa powder)

2 tbsp honey

1/4 tsp orange extract

2 tbsp coconut milk



NB: I used a food processor with the mixer/whisk attachment but you can whisk by hand

Place all ingredients in the food processor bowl and mix together until smooth, ensuring all avocado lumps have blended into the mixture

Scoop into the bowls and place in the fridge to set (for 2-3 hours)

Carbs – 35g

Fat – 34g

Protein – 7.5g

Fibre – 11g

Macros (per person when serving 4):

Carbs – 17.5g

Fat – 17g

Protein – 3.75g

Fibre – 5.5g
