It’s Smoothie Saturday time again! I hope you are all having a great Easter weekend! As you know, I firmly believe that including everything in moderation in your diet is the best approach to a healthy lifestyle, so I will definitely be enjoying some Easter eggs tomorrow.
This isn’t because I’ve earned it or because I’ve carefully fitted it into my daily calorie intake – it’s just because I want to. Because it’s Easter!
I promote a healthy lifestyle and to me that includes occasionally having chocolate and cake (obviously gluten-free because of my intolerance). Please remember that eating an Easter egg doesn’t mean you’ve failed and ‘fallen off the wagon’ – a little bit of what you fancy is absolutely fine!
So anyway, I was thinking about making a chocolate smoothie for this weekend, but I realised it would be best to make a fruity smoothie instead as that’s the perfect way to make you feel refreshed after having a little (or a lot of) chocolate. So here it is!
If you try my recipe please let me know what you think.
