It’s officially spring!! I’m so excited that the weather is finally starting to get better and we are one step closer to summer! So this week’s Smoothie Saturday recipe is a refreshing glass of tastiness perfect to cool you down on those warmer days.
It’s kind of like a pimped up orange juice. I actually can’t believe I just wrote pimped up – I’m pretty sure I’ve never written that before. But let’s go with it, you’ll know what I mean when you try it.
If you’re concerned about the fact the recipe contains carrot, don’t worry – it works.
Unlike most of my smoothie recipes, this one doesn’t have any particularly strong flavours that stand out because I was going for a simple taste that refreshes you – something that would hit the spot on a hot day. And as we’ve been fortunate enough to have some lovely weather recently I can safely say (after some delicious taste testing) this is definitely refreshing!

Mango, Orange & Carrot Smoothie
1 medium peeled orange
145g frozen mango
1 medium carrot
140ml cashew milk (or whatever milk you fancy)
Pinch cayenne pepper
Put all of the ingredients into the smoothie cup and blitz in the smoothie maker. Then pour into a glass and enjoy!
