Find out how Melanie got on during her second week of the #trysomethingactive challenge and join in by sharing your photos on social media…

This is week two of my Yogalates trial and I was looking forward to it this time! As most workout DVDs I own involve loud dance music and flinging myself around, it felt good to be able to, dare I say it? Relax and exercise!

I was worried the lack of any music would be a challenge but the instructions were clear and easily understood and it was overall a calming experience with gentle but challenging stretches.

I have managed to find time either when I get home from work or at the weekends so it seems to be fitting in well with my schedule. Next time I am going to try workout 2. I hope it doesn’t contain any surprises!

The lovely people at Bounce sent me some Energy Balls to try. Gluten free, in handy snack sizes and in flavours that actually sounded edible! This week I tried the apple and cinnamon ‘Protein Punch’. In a handy sized pack these are full of tasty bits of cashew and seeds with a lovely apple and spice flavour. One to pop in the bag for the next workout!

Fancy joining in the challenge? All you need to do is share photos of your new active hobby experience with #trysomethingactive on social media for your chance to win some Bounce balls! It’s not too late to get involved!
