As promised last week, this is week two of my Smoothie Saturday posts. It’s a series in which I’m going to be sharing a variety of my favourite smoothie recipes with you.
I’m really excited about this one because it’s the perfect way to get some good fats into your diet even if you hate avocado as the taste of the avocado is completely masked by the other ingredients!
I know numerous people who dislike avocado, nuts and fish, which are some of the main sources of good fats. If you’re one of those people then this will solve the problem of trying to find ways to get good fats in your diet.
It’s a deliciously thick smoothie which is super refreshing! I have a feeling it’s going to make a regular appearance in my house during the summer because it has that fresh summer feeling to it. Does that make sense? Can a drink have a fresh summer feeling? Ah, you know what I mean…hopefully. 😉
In all honesty, this recipe could be split between two because it’s so filling… But you know me, I’m a greedy git, so I had it all.
If you try my recipe please let me know what you think!
